How does it work?
Every sportsman receives a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag, attached to his shoe or in a wristband, which contains a personal code. When a sportsman with his RFID tag passes a camera, it automatically recognizes him. The cameras are installed on the best positions along the route and register the people as they pass by them. The system then labels the recordings and stores them so they can later be retrieved and automatically edited to a personal movie combining different scenes. In addition to the personal scenes the movie can contain general shots, such as helicopter overviews and shots of the game course. Visitors can buy the video on DVD at the park or download it at home on a PC or even on their mobile phone using the unique code from their RFID tag.
